- What kind of items do you specialize in?
We specialize in fine antique furniture. Most of our items are British or European. We have furniture from the 1820's to the 1940's, but the bulk of our inventory dates from 1880 to 1910. We carry pieces of every size, description, and most importanly - every price range!
- Do you deliver?
Yes. We charge $75.00 for delivery within Edmonton, $100 to deliver to points within an hour travel time from Edmonton, $200 for deliveries within 2 hours travel time and $300 for deliveries within 3 hours travel time. Delivery charges include setting the piece or pieces up in your home.
We can also arrange shipping to points farther away.
- Do you buy antique furniture? What about trade-ins or consignments?
We do not take furniture or other items on consignment. We may consider trade-ins in some cases. We do buy local antique furniture of good quality in good condition. We do not buy furniture that is less than 50 years old. We are currently interested in purchasing Canadiana furniture, made in 1920 or earlier. If you have items you think we might be interested in, please email us a photo and if we interested, we will contact you to arrange an appointment to see your items.
- Do you repair antique furniture?
We make minor repairs as needed to our own pieces, as needed. We generally do not refinish our furniture, but rather protect and preserve its current condition. If customers prefer the look of a refinished piece, we can provide guidance in doing it yourself, or referrals to competent refinishers. We do not currently provide custom repair or refinishing services.
